Baby blue

Don’tcha just love the colour of plumbago? I wish a had a sweater that pale colour. If I was buying a new car I’d choose a plumbago blue one. Once upon a time I used to lacquer my nails that exact shade.

Somehow it’s almost too delicate a colour for such a tough, reliable little bush that looks so great when mass planted and seems to flower all year.
