Climate change? I am going to thrive

Seen any of those Scandi noir series lately? Brrr. So cold. Snow flurries, icy lakes, puffy parkas, dark rain-slicked streets, cars sliding into snow drifts. Great to watch, but, to me, life in such freezing weather would be a nightmare. Give me our land of sunshine and mangoes, bare feet, 30 degree days, blinding light, the blue of our blue blue skies.

Mind you, when watching our Aussie outback films, the Scandis would similarly be wondering how anyone could possibly bear to live in such a climate. Phew. So hot. Especially now they’ve had a taste of it this Northern summer.
