Is it an exclusively female thing to enjoy eating flowers? I often throw two or three nasturtiums into the salad. They not only taste good, they brighten a lettuce salad up. Yet the male member of our household invariably plucks them out to be remaindered on the side of the plate. Pity.

Talking of nasturtiums, don’t you love watering them? Seeing those silver drops slide around the leaves (which are good to eat too)?
