Our gorgeous scents

I know. I know. The gardenias are out. And their perfume is beautiful. But give me our very own Aussie scents. Think brown boronia – one of the great perfumes of all time. Think pittosporum. Think of mowing underneath a lemon gum. Think of entering the hall where the native orchid collectors are having their spring show and being assailed by the perfume. Think perichor – the smell of our parched earth after the first rain drops.
